Students in Ms. Anna’s preschool class recently took a field trip just down the hall to the custodian’s office to meet Wildwood Elementary School’s head custodian, Mr. Dan!
During the tour, Mr. Dan showed students how he helps keep the school warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Our youngest learners listened closely as he explained how the boiler and fans work to keep everyone comfortable.
Mr. Dan also showed them some of the tools and supplies he uses every day. They talked about taking care of their classroom and why cleaning up matters since Mr. Dan helps look after the spaces they use every day.
The looks of curiosity and wonder said it all.
