ORDER A TRANSCRIPT

Parchment is the online digital credential service that allows students to request official and self-view (unofficial) transcripts. Mahtomedi High School students must order all transcripts through Parchment at www.parchment.com.

Students will use Parchment during their high school years and beyond to request transcripts for higher education applications, scholarship applications, military enlistment, auto insurance, job applications, etc. It is critical that students save their Parchment login credentials so they can access the system as needed while attending Mahtomedi High School and after they leave the school.

Tips for Getting Started

  • Students are encouraged to use a personal email account when signing up for a Parchment account. Because the district deletes student email accounts shortly after students unenroll or graduate, please refrain from using a district email address. Once the Parchment account has been created, be sure to save the account information so it can easily be retrieved in the future.

Note: Gmail and Outlook are examples of two systems that offer free and reliable email accounts. When creating a personal email account be thoughtful about the name you create and keep it simple. Keep in mind that it may be an email address that will be shared with higher education institutions, scholarship applications, future employers, etc.

  • Parents are encouraged to have their child set up their Parchment account on their own using their own personal email address. Parents are also encouraged to help their child save their Parchment login credentials in a secure location so their child can access the system when it is needed. Issues and complications often arise for students when a parent creates the Parchment account using their own personal email address and the student is not able to access it for critical communication with Parchment.

  • Students must use their full legal name when requesting a transcript.

  • Families are encouraged to print and save a free self-view transcript at the end of ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade. Be sure to understand the difference between official transcripts and self-view transcripts. In some instances an official transcript is required. These can be ordered at a cost of $5.95 per official transcript. Self-view transcripts are free.

Our School
Mahtomedi High School has a heart for innovation, provides rigorous academic coursework, and supports students to explore extracurricular opportunities. Our teachers and staff are passionate and dedicated people who explore innovative ideas and teach our students new ways of thinking to support them in whatever career path they choose. Students engage in project-based learning to solve real-world problems using industry-standard technology in the nation’s first M.I.T. certified FabLab housed in a public school. Fine arts is a vital and robust part of the High School and our visual and performing arts classes include ceramics, digital art, choir, band, and event broadcasting. We also offer Flex Time during the school day when students may receive academic support, engage in college and career exploration, and connect over common interests. Over 90% of our student community engages in extracurricular activities that range from athletics to robotics. Students’ social and emotional learning is addressed through various avenues including a restorative practices approach for student behavior and through our Zephyr Link Crew mentoring program.
